Jet 2 Cancel flights to Greece amid “Stay at Home” Warning

The budget airline Jet2 has urged passengers to refrain from traveling to the airport due to severe weather conditions impacting a Greek holiday destination. All flights, including those departing from Leeds Bradford Airport bound for Skiathos have been cancelled. The decision comes in response to heavy thunderstorms forecasted by the Hellenic National Meteorological Service for the Sporades archipelago island.

Jet2 has canceled flights from other UK airports and is working on rescheduling them. The airline advises passengers not yet at the airport to stay home and return tomorrow, while those already there should seek assistance from Jet2’s staff. Additionally, they are reaching out to affected passengers in Skiathos.
