Heathrow Airport Faces New Wave of Border Force Strikes and Disruptions
Border Force staff at Heathrow Airport have announced more strikes at the end of the half-term break. The strikes will occur on May 31, June 1, and June 2.
Following the strikes, there will be three weeks of reduced work activity from June 4 to June 25, including staff working to rule and a ban on overtime.
Over 500 members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union will participate in the strikes due to a dispute over a new staff roster.
The PCS expects these walkouts to disrupt passport checks for travelers entering the UK at Heathrow Airport.
