Passenger Fatally Injured in Accident at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
A tragic accident at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has left a passenger dead after being sucked into the engine of a commercial aircraft on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred during the boarding process for KLM Flight KL1234 a Cityhopper Embraer E190. The passenger, whose identity has not been released, somehow came too close to the aircraft’s running engine.
Emergency services responded quickly, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. KLM expressed deep sorrow and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation by airport authorities.
