Three easyJet flights diverted to Bournemouth Airport

Three easyJet planes have been forced to land at Bournemouth airport over the weekend due to adverse weather conditions.

An easyJet spokesperson said: “Due to adverse weather conditions in London Gatwick this afternoon a flight from Palma, Zakynthos, and one from Malaga were unable to land and diverted to Bournemouth.

The budget airline only currently operates two flights out of Bournemouth Airport during the winter months to Geneva and Lyon.

TUI and Ryanair are currently the two main operators out of the airport.
