A regular visitor to my Hometown

If your a regular visitor to the beautiful market town of Chorley you’ll of past what was once upon a time a large working mill then leisure & shopping complex. It also housed a huge indoor soft play area. Botany Bay was so easy to get to just off the M61. So what does this have to do with aviation i hear you ask. Well Botany Bay is home to the company Botany Aviation owned by the owner of Botany Bay Timothy Knowles. Each morning you may see a low flying black helicopter. The helicopter G-TJPK which is a Agustawestland AW109 is the flagship helicopter on Botany Aviation.

The feature photo of this post shows the helicopter landing back on the helipad at Botany Bay after arriving in from Fairford on the 8th August 2023
