Well let’s just say it’s been one of the worst days for air travel across the United Kingdom. Early today a computer system for the national air traffic control service failed leaving 100s of planes and passengers stranded at airports across the UK. One passenger described the airport as absolutely horrendous. “When I arrived for my flight at 1pm there were passengers still waiting for flights that were scheduled to depart at 8am. There was no room to sit or anything”
Flights are very slowly getting to normal.
