Keep It Tidy!

Keep It Tidy!

Remember, when you visit your local airport to take care and look after the area by making sure you tidy up and clear away any rubbish you leave behind after a day watching planes. Spaces such as green spaces near runways and The Runway Visitor Park at Manchester are shared by others – This means we need to make sure that we do not wreck the experience or wreck the scenery.

A recent visit by me and Gareth ended up becoming sour due to the amount of rubbish which was left by people. It puts a damper on visits as it wrecks photo opportunites and the look of the area; as well as giving planespotters a bad reputation at the airport. We, the visitors are loved by local authorites due to our presence in preventing and protecting people who fly in and out of airports because we offer another set of eyes and report anything suspicious. The last thing they want is us leaving wrappers, cans and other rubbish behind. Worse case scenario is can cause potiential dangers toward aircrafts by ingesting it into their engines which could causes life threatening situations.

Lets all work together, save the environment and pickup our rubbish after visiting viewing spaces – not just at airports, anywhere outside.
