The United Kingdom’ busiest airport London Heathrow has as released its passenger numbers for April 2024 which showed that the airport handled 6.7 million passengers. This is a 4.8% increase compared to the previous year. 25.2 million passengers passed through Heathrow’s terminals in the first 4 months of 2024, up by 8.2% year-on-year. In the 12 months between May 2023 to April 2024, the airport handled 81.1 million, 15.5% more than in 2022/23.
