Edinburgh Airport was closed for a short time yesterday as urgent runway repairs had to take place.
All flights to Edinburgh were held or diverted to Glasgow.
Urgent runway resurfacing was required following the hard landing of an aircraft.
The airport confirmed: there was a suspension while emergency repairs were carried out on the airfield.
