EasyJet Issues Warning to Passengers Amid French Air Traffic Control Strikes

EasyJet has alerted passengers traveling before May 31 to expect possible “disruption and delays” to flights. The airline advises UK tourists to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

This warning follows air traffic control strikes that began in France on Friday, May 24. While the strikes primarily impact flights to and from France, they may also affect flights to other destinations.

Both EasyJet and Jet2 have issued warnings to customers with flights booked through the end of the month. Despite the potential for disruption, both airlines have reassured passengers that their staff are working diligently to minimize delays. An EasyJet spokesperson stated, “We’ve been made aware of air traffic control strikes that will affect flights in and out of France from Friday, May 24 to Friday, May 31.”
