Away from aviation you maybe interested to know I’m a huge fan of visiting theme park attractions along with my good friend Ross.
For many today has been a momentous day in the history of the theme park industry.
The day that Hyperia the new tallest roller coaster in the UK based at Thorpe Park near London opened to the public.
Thrill seekers arrived in their thousands from all over the globe to be the first people to ride this iconic ride towering 236ft in height. Hyperia tops the new record of the tallest roller coaster in the UK. Taking the title of the Big One at a Blackpool Pleasure Beach off to the top spot by 1ft.
The day began with an opening ceremony and yes you’ve guessed it there was plane activity.
