Passengers Held Due to Suspected Chickenpox Case

Passengers on a Jet2 flight from Alicante were held on board after an individual exhibited symptoms of chickenpox.

Upon landing at Belfast International Airport at 2:35 PM on May 20, the Jet2 flight LS302 was held on the runway. Instead of disembarking immediately, passengers were instructed to stay seated as port health officials boarded the aircraft. The precaution was taken due to health concerns raised when one passenger displayed symptoms of chickenpox.
