PIA Returning to Manchester

PIA Returning to Manchester

This August, we will be seeing the return of a much controversial airline – Pakistan International Airlines.

They were banned from operating their routes and eventually flying into European airspace all together on July 1st, 2020. An investigation into the airline found that there was a mass scam with the pilots licenses. There were concerns about the authenticity of the licenses which found that 262 of pilots were flying on fraudulent papers.

Recently, PIA has invited companies to bid for their flights catering for their return on 14th August, 2024. They will be operating 9 weekly flights to Islamabad on their Boeing 777-300 aircraft, which is currently the only equipment the airline is allowed to fly in Europe due to previous issues which banned their 747s from the airspace.

We would love to hear what you think about the return?
