Technical delays in the Balearic Islands

Airports on all of the Balearic Islands are steadily getting back to normal after a technical incident. System is up and running again after the Control Centre of ENAIRE had issues with radars earlier today. The fault halted most flights leaving Palma de Mallorca airport with Ibiza and Menorca airports also affected. Reporter Matthew Kitchen onboard a flight from Mahon in Menorca said “ The captain announced that flights were able to depart from each of the Islands every five minutes enabling planes to get airborne and then transfer to a new radar frequency over France. Until then it’s just a waiting game.”
