It has been released that the airline Monarch could be making a comeback to the sky in 2024. The airline which started operation in 1967 ceased operation on the 2nd October 2017 leaving 110’000 holidaymakers abroad. In a statement the new company have said it would re-emerge as a “premium alternative to low-cost leisure carriers” and plug a gap in capacity after the pandemic.
